are safe, thank God! They were able to call the States today. Now their only obstacle is getting out of the country. I think we are going out Saturday night for Halloween, can't wait to hear Carrie's stories (no one can tell a story like she can!).
So, the book A Million Little Pieces is a good book, not quite the life altering/fabulous book that it has been portrayed to be, but nonetheless, good. There is something about it that makes you keep turning the pages. Maybe because it is not divided up into chapters....I'm going to recommend it to my team at work tho. It definitely puts you into the mind of a substance abuser-folks we deal with every day. Perhaps it will make us a little more understanding....
