The random observations, thoughts, ramblings and true tales of a 33 year old, small town gal living it up in the big city (AKA St. Louis, MO). I like to tell stories about the things that mean the most to me: my family (including my new baby niece Kendall!) and friends and, of course, my Chicago Cubs (you have NO idea how hard it is to be a Cubs fan living in Cardinal Country!)....you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll hopefully laugh some more. Just don't wet yourself. Thanks.

It's a good thing you didn't become a Red Wings fan. Then you would have had to worry about all those things like the joy in seeing him raise his first cup, or winning a Conn Smythe or hoisting the other 2 Stanley Cups.
ha! ha! you know Canada, you really should take that comedy of yours out on the road...hilarious, just hilarious.... :)
Meanwhile you get to celebrate fake Americans (Brett Hull), goalie carousels and whining Crybabies (Chris Pronger) . . . Go Blues Go!!!!
for the record, I was NEVER a Brett Hull fan. And, yes, having met Chris Pronger I can attest that he is, in fact, a whining crybaby.
Well, the only thing that made me dislike Stevie Y...see if you remember this one kids...playoffs, OT, Blue Line, Slap Shot, Passed Jon Casey, wings go on and blues go home. That was horrific!
But yes, he is still quite handsome. At the Blues/Stars game, I kept yelling, "Mike Modano, I've loved you since you were 19! Why did you marry that wanna-be-pop-star??". The crowd loved it...my husband, did not.
Oh...I do remember that. Bastard. It was a tough time-loving Stevie Y but HATING the wings....what is a girl to do?
As for Mike Modano-it's true, loved him for forever! He's still cute...don't forget his wife was also on Dancing With The Stars....I think she is now more famous for being Mike Modano's wife...
urgh, in all the dallas society pages, they call her Willa Ford Modano. Makes me want to puke. She's everywhere down here!
Ew...no one talks about the Blues wives around here. All I hear sports-wise nowadays is how much the Rams suck, how much the Cardinals are gonna suck and how mediocre the Blues are...it is not a positive time for St Louis sports...guess we won't be getting the Greatest Sports City in America award this year....
In her defense, I think she is more famous for being hot.
P.S. : Check out the link (click on "RP")
you are PURE EVIL, Mr. Tessier! Pure evil I tell ya! You are gonna give my poor little sister nightmares...or PTSD. Way to go. :)
It's not my fault that she's a Blues fan
GO BLUES! GO BLUES! GO BLUES! GO BLUES! GO BLUES! GO BLUES! GO BLUES!
Hot is definitely subjective, wouldn't you say? :)
How 'bout them Blues? shut-out the canes! We got free tickets to go to the stars-wild game tomorrow, but I'm not feeling it on a Monday.
PS...nice clip, Canada. I don't know what's worse...Yzerman's goal or those ugly clown jersey's the Blues wore back then.
