Today is my dear, dear friend Canada's birthday (AKA "RP", AKA "Canadian Bacon", AKA "The Most Ridiculously Good-Looking Person On Earth, and some people even call him...**gasp**......Darin). Happy Birthday, Canada! I hope you are having a GREAT day, expect to hear from me later, I know a call from your Yankee Doodle is EXACTLY what you wished for..... :) Anyway, behave yourself, don't be partying too hard listening to Bryan Adams and Barenaked Ladies and drinking your Molson. By the way, what time were you planning on calling? The plans are to go straight from work, out to dinner with fam at 7:00 and so I probably won't be home until 9:00 (and that's assuming Mom Canada doesn't have some sort of cake back at her place afterwards).
Hmmmm...in that case, I may just have to call ya tomorrow....there is that two hour time difference and, I don't know if you know this or not, but KD is an old, old woman. She can't stay up past 10pm CST..... :) Here's hoping Mom Canada bakes you the bestest birthday cake EVER. I will talk to you tomorrow evening, is that cool??? :)
I am not sure if tonight will work either. I have soccer practice and won't be home until after 8:30 PST. Tomorrow might work, I am going down to catch an afternoon Seattle Mariners game, but if traffic isn't too bad I should be home between 7:00 and 8:00.
Oh Canada-you are just too popular and busy for me...I see how ya are...ok, how bout Thursday? Geez, I totally cannot believe you are not at home sitting, waiting for my call......

OMG, Canada I know, I suck (what is up w/"Darin" anyway???). I meant to call last night, but was caught up in packing for my Chicago trip and doing laundry, and of course,watching the Cubs win. I barely made it to the end of the game at 10pm my time, i was a sleepy girl....i'm sure you'll be out partying tonight, it's friday night and all, but i'm gonna try ya anyway....... :)
I am not sure that I will be home tonight as I am too cool to be home on a Friday night (not really . . . does it count as too cool if you are going to watch the Simpson's movie).
I don't know where the "Darin" came from??? I hit an enter button when I wasn't supposed to and that's what happened.
well, if i miss ya, i will just grace you with my voice on voicemail...that way, you can play it over and over and over and over again. it'll be like i'm there! :)

I would never try to break your heart, "Anonymous". Never! I'm sorry, I know it is excuses, but I was a little crazed last week getting ready for my trip, I just got back last night and now I am sick. I'm gonna try to reach ya tonight after I get off work from Job #2 at 9pm.......
