Hey, my crack ain't bothering anyone!!!

You got it wrong, America. Voting off Michael Johns? ARE YOU INSANE????? Dude, WTF???? I'm not sure I can even watch anymore (ok, maybe that last part was just a bit melodramatic...). Perhaps America did him a favor, however. He'll probably become a major rock star now. Mark my words.

Ok, the sun is being a big tease today. I awoke to the sun shining bright through my window. I was filled with hope that finally, yes finally, we were gonna have a nice day. That was, until I saw weatherman Mike Roberts on tv and he informed me that not only were the temperatures going to drop all day long but that tomorrow we'd most likely be getting some snow. Uh, did I hear that correctly? Snow? As in the solid white stuff that falls from the sky, typically in the WINTER? I am SO not down with this, in case anyone cares.

Busy, busy weekend ahead. My awesome cousin Clint, his girlfriend Amy and his daughter Kira are in town this weekend. I haven't seen Clint since his brother's wedding last June, so I am definitely looking forward to seeing him, and to meeting Amy for the first time (although we are SO MySpace buddies already!). We are all doing lunch tomorrow, somewhere in St. Charles. Then, I'll have to hightail it home to get ready for the employee appreciation dinner for the crisis line at Dave and Busters. Now, as you all know, Dave and Busters is one of my personal hells (along with the mall, the DMV and Wal-Mart on a Saturday morning). There are too many people, lights, noises......stimuli, for me to be able to take. That being said, I am not one to pass up free dinner and the chance to win a door prize, so I will be there. After that, some of my fellow crisis line workers and I are going out, like to a real club. As Canada and I have discussed, I am not so much a "club" person, but I promised Tanya I'd go. I really wanna be at Gitto's for karaoke night where Robin and the gang will be (I might just have to make an appearance at both) tomorrow night, we shall see. Sunday is my monthly brunch with Sue and Renee-we are checking out Sue's new house she just bought. After that, more fine family fun as the Batto's are hosting a BBQ. Again, free food mixed with quality family time? I'm there!

Today is going to be a fun filled day. I already spent my morning at AutoTire where I couldn't believe my car passed the safety inspection. I mean, have you seen that three foot long crack in my windshield?????? I thought for sure I'd have to get that fixed, but nope, I can carry on driving my ghettofied car for another two years. Yay me! I need to do some laundry (which should be no big deal but for some reason, I just hate it. Maybe it's the fact that I have to go all the way in the basement....hey, I worked out yesterday, it's not like I'm being TOTALLY lazy....). I thought perhaps I'd do something outside-take a walk or something before the temps drop. Then again, I really need to give my apartment a good, thorough cleaning. Oh, the choices are endless in my fun-filled life. Don't be jealous.......
