Handsome little man!

OMG, I already love little Brayden, my cousin Ben's new baby boy. We will all get to meet him 4th of July weekend-I can't wait! Although we all know that newborns make me nervous, I'm willing to get over that fear. :) Here are some new pictures (stolen from the family blog, DUH!) of Brayden and his mommy and daddy. How cute are these pics?

Whatever happened to the terrorizing fear of babies???

I'm working on getting past it..... :)

There are some things in life that a person is afraid of, that one is never meant to get over (like butterflies). I'm glad you are able to show the courage to get past your fear of something as mind blowingly frightening as babies.

Um, RP, I may be going out on a limb here, but I get the distinct sense that you are making fun of me. Quite frankly, I'm hurt.

P.S. You forgot about clowns and tornadoes.

Why, whatever do you mean???

P.S. : I could have easily used clowns instead of butterflies, but butterflies are probably one of the least scary things on the planet (except of course for the dreaded Africanized Killer Butterflies). Tornados on the other hand are ACTUALLY scary.

Oh, I don't know. Silly me to accuse you of being mean and making fun of me. YOU wouldn't do anything like that......and I don't care what you say, butterflies are too scary. I just don't like them landing on me. It's called PERSONAL SPACE for a reason, butterfly!

Actually, I am just putting on a brave face. I have been terrified of butterflies ever since the first time I heard the story of how Great Grandpa Canada was killed by a pack of wild butterflies in 19 ought 4

So terribly sorry to hear about Great Grandpa Canada. That must have been so traumatic for you to hear as a small boy....damn butterflies!

The scariest part was when I learned that some of them have fangs.
