Damn straight! Lou Piniella is the 2008 NL Manager of the Year!

Congrats to Sweet Lou, the 2008 NL Manager of the Year (as if there was any doubt). Now, granted, the ballots were cast BEFORE the playoffs began, so if you just take the regular season into consideration, Lou definitely deserves this award. I mean, after all, he did guide his team to the best record in the NL and to winning the NL Central two years in a row (which damn near may be a Cubbie record....). As you all know, I love myself some Lou Piniella. I hope he is the Cubs manager FOREVER! I realize that probably won't happen since he is like 107 years old, but a girl can dream can't she?
