SIGH. It's official. Ted Lilly will not be a Cub next season. Or ever again. Perhaps the first clue should have been when his Chicago mansion was put on the market. Ted officially signed a 3 year deal with the Dodgers yesterday. At 35 years old (in Jan), this deal may just end in his retirement three years from now. I knew it was a longshot that Ted would come back to the Cubs, but it still hurts. Lots. Especially since hope of replacing him in the starting rotation is some kid named Casey Coleman. I know it makes sense for him-he's from California, but still, us Cubs fans loved us some Ted Lilly. The Cubs loss is the Dodgers gain. Y'all better appreciate him!
Is it Spring Training yet?

I was hoping he would go back to the Cubs, but oh well. I hope this Coleman kid can do us proud.
