A quote from the Cubs web page: "Starter Mark Prior had command problems in his first outing of the year, allowing three homers in the first inning and four overall in a short start against an unrelenting Detroit attack. The Cubs hit three home runs themselves, but each was a solo shot, as Chicago was swept at Wrigley."
Sounds about right, huh? The Cubs lost 12-3 that day. They are now a whopping 16 games out of first, only one game ahead of the last place Pirates. It is a sad, sad season. Here's a good question-if the Cubs try to trade Mark Prior or Kerry Wood, is anyone gonna want them? My guess is, probably not.
