Salmonella enteritidis precautions

Ok, so, apparently the way to test for salmonella is with a stool sample. I will have you know that I provided my dear friend Mike with a little plastic baggie yesterday with which to collect his stool sample. I am a good friend.

You can learn more at www.salmonella.org in case you are bored today....

you need a carey-blair kit for a stool sample. and please tell everyone that flu-like symptoms is sooo false! Flu is respiratory, people! Salmonellosis is watery diarrhea, cramping, low grade fever, and MAYBE vomiting. The new is making me sick! I love how all these "experts" appear on the news...do they ever contact the actual people who work with this stuff????

No, don't do it! We had a lady yesterday who wanted to bring her poo in a butter dish!

That is all kinds of wrong! Why a butter dish? I totally don't get that....

Oh well....why not choose tupperware or saran wrap, a Starbucks coffee cup or perhaps a Chinese takeout container??? I think I am really grossed out now.
