Cubs ink deals with Ramirez, Wood
At least one good thing happened for the Cubbies-a new four year deal with Aramis Ramirez, who, without a doubt is their best player (the Cubs know it was in their best interest to pay him his 73 million bucks...). I really thought he was gonna walk. Wouldn't blame the guy if he did. Don't so much care about them signing Kerry Wood for another year, since he's played like 5 games in the last three years....now all the Cubbies gotta do is go out and find some pitching. Yea, I know-good luck with that. Hey, I hear Suppan-Bringin-Da-Heat is a free agent.....

Now, let's not get ahead of ourselves, here! Everyone knows 2008 is gonna be their year-you know, the 100 year anniversary of the last time they won the World Series. I have $100 riding on it. Timbo-will you accept a payment plan??????
