The random observations, thoughts, ramblings and true tales of a 33 year old, small town gal living it up in the big city (AKA St. Louis, MO). I like to tell stories about the things that mean the most to me: my family (including my new baby niece Kendall!) and friends and, of course, my Chicago Cubs (you have NO idea how hard it is to be a Cubs fan living in Cardinal Country!)....you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll hopefully laugh some more. Just don't wet yourself. Thanks.

Mom-have you ever seen a live one?
OK, now normally I'm not scared of them (because usually they're dead on the road and of no potential danger to me). But one night at my Mom's, one was sitting on top of the fence, and it bared its teeth and hissed at me. Kind of like your cat used to do. So don't knock the possum phobia!
